2. STANLEY NO. 51, SPOKE SHAVE, Made in USA mark on the cutter says that Stanley made it for another store to sell. Used for work on flat or convex surfaces. Flat bottom, raised handles for clearance. 90% japanning, G++ ........ $20.00

3. STANLEY NO. 52, SPOKE SHAVE, Sweetheart mark on the cutter. Used for work on flat or convex surfaces. Flat bottom, flat handles. 98% japanning, Fine ........ Sold $30.00

4. STANLEY NO. 53, ADJUSTABLE SPOKE SHAVE, Adjustable throat. V on the cutter dates this one to around 1915. Used for work on flat or convex surfaces. Flat bottom. Like the No. 54, but, raised handles for clearance. 96% japanning. There is a bit of adhesive tape residue under the handle - this has been liberated from a long-time collection, Fine ........ $70.00

5. STANLEY NO. 55, HOLLOW FACE SPOKE SHAVE, Notched-rectangle logo on the cutter. For use on all types of round work, such as chair legs or handles ... Curved handles. 98% japanning. Some light patina on the bare metal surfaces, Fine ........ $65.00

6. STANLEY NO. 60, DOUBLE SPOKE SHAVE, Has both a flat and convex shave side-by-side. This was made by Stanley, but the cutters are marked Made in USA, so, it was probably sold by another dealer. 90% japanning, G+ ................ $55.00

7. STANLEY NO. 64, SPOKE SHAVE, Has the Made in USA logo on the cutter. Light weight. For flat and convex work. 90% japanning, G+ .......... $25.00

8. STANLEY NO. 67, UNIVERSAL SPOKE SHAVE, Sweetheart logo on the cutter which has a few light rust spots. Complete with the fence and both a flat and round soles. Used for work on flat or convex surfaces, also rabbeting work. The handles can be removed and screwed in the top to facilitate work in close areas. Almost all of the nickel plating remains, but there is a bit of dirt. Nice rosewood handles. There are splits in the ferrules, which is common, but shouldn't effect use, Fine ........ $185.00

9. STANLEY NO. 67, UNIVERSAL SPOKE SHAVE, Sweetheart logo on the cutter. Has the round sole. The handles can be removed and screwed in the top to facilitate work in close areas, as for rabbeting. 90% nickel plating. The rosewood handles are nice. One of the ferrules is not plated, G+ ........ $55.00

10. STANLEY NO. 84, RAZOR-EDGE SPOKE SHAVE, Boxwood frame, adjustable throat and adjustable depth. Good length to the cutter, and both ears are still there. A perfect user tool, Fine ............... $165.00

11. STANLEY NO. 151, ADJUSTABLE SPOKE SHAVE, Notched rectangle logo on the cutter dates this one to around 1910. This is the all-purpose workhorse of the Stanley line. Used for flat or convex work. There are two nuts that engage with the cutter to provide an easy way for proper adjustment. 98% japanning, with a few paint splatters. May have been lightly cleaned, Fine ............... $50.00

12. STANLEY NO. 151, ADJUSTABLE SPOKE SHAVE, Notched rectangle logo on the cutter. This is the all-purpose workhorse of the Stanley line. Used for flat or convex work. There are two nuts that engage with the cutter to provide an easy way for proper adjustment. 90% japanning, some light rust on the bare metal surfaces, G++ ............... $40.00

1. MILLERS FALLS NO. 1 CIRCULAR SHAVE. Reverse the cutter for flat or curved work. Rosewood handles on this shave with a circular shape permitting the tool to work in small circles. The knife is so pitched that it cuts instead of scraping the grain. Either handle is removable for working in cramped quarters. Has the Feb 19, 1884 patent date. Length 10 inches. 85% nickel plating. Needs some sharpening, G++ .............. $80.00

2. SMALL BEECH SHAVE, Made in England. It looks like the ends of the handles have been cut down a bit - it is 6 3/4 inches long, G+ ....... $35.00

3. PHELPS BROS. SPOKESHAVE, This is a small patternmaker's spoke shave made by Phelps Bros., Phiston, PA. Nickel plated brass, flat bottom, 3 3/4 inch overall length. G .............. $85.00

4. STEARNS LOW-ANGLE SPOKE SHAVE, This one isn't listed in the reproduction catalog I have. I have only seen one other example. Low angle, the cutter is screwed to the back, G++ .............. $80.00

5. CRESCENT SPOKE SHAVE, Flat bottom, raised looped handles. Looks the same as the Birmingham spokeshave. 75% japanning, G+ .............. $40.00

1. STANLEY NO. 66 HAND BEADER, Feb. 9. (18)86 patent date is cast in the body, and S casting marks on the main pieces. 90% of the nickel plating is still there. There is apparently none on the blade holder or the two fences - it looks like there never was any. With eight double-ended cutters. Some of them may be professional reproductions, Fine .............. $185.00

2. WINDSOR BEADER, Second type with fruitwood body. Nice patina on the uncleaned brass. It has the original small cutter. Some minor scuffing on the wood bottom, which won't affect use, G+ ......... Sold $175.00
