An interesting early tool. I'm not sure of its purpose. There is a tack hammer head on one end and a two-inch wide blade on the other. It seems too light to be an adze, but it may have been used to split small work for pegs. Otherwise, it may be a veneer hammer, the blade being used to smooth-down veneer after gluing, G ..................... $65.00
