Holly Patent Iron Jointer Plane
Patented July 6, 1852. This pre-Civil War plane has a beech handle and knob, and the original Casey, Kitchell & Co. cutter.
This is the plane pictured in PTAMPIA II, p. 18. It is the nicest example I have ever seen, and one of the very few that have the dovetailed birch insert in the rear of the plane, that is stamped "'Patented", G++ ..........Sold $3495.00
