Stanley No. 4 1/2 Smooth Plane
The No. 4 1/2 is heavier and longer that the No. 4, making it one of the best smoothing planes for surfacing lumber.
This plane appears to be unused, and in it's original Sweetheart box (G+, gas a little tape on the back side). Looks like 100% japanning and nickel plating still remain.
This is a War Vintage model with stained hardwood handles and rubber adjusting nut. Made in USA mark on the full length cutter. There is a small area of patina on the bottom edge from sitting in the box, Fine+ ..........Sold $265.00
