Norwood's Patent Rabbet Block Plane
The Norwood's patent is an well-made and attractive block plane patented in the Boston area on April 6, 1876. It has a cutter adjustment that is similar to the one that L. Bailey used on his No. 9 1/2. It is one of the few block planes made with the sides cut out for rabbeting. There are not many examples known. Marked Patd Apr 6, 1875 on both the cutter and the body. 7 3/8 inches long, G+ ........Sold $2195.00
