Stanley No. 57 Core Box Plane

Union Plane Co. No. 44 Combination Plane
Complete in the original box. It has the long and short rods, all three depth stops, screwdriver and flat green box that holds all 18 cutters. Phillips Improved Plough Plane
The Phillips Improved Plough Plane with its elegant form and decorative painted highlights is one of the most beautiful tools ever produced. This Improved model is marked on the skate with the Aug 13, 1867 patent date, and Babson & Repplier, 7 Doane St, Boston. It is very uncommon to find an example that still retains the red, blue and gold decoration. There is chipping to the finish on the edges and inside of the handle, but there is still 80% remaining. Siegley Patent Plow Plane
Although Siegley Patent Plow Planes are rather common, this is one of the very few that have an all-metal fence with a micro-dial adjustment. L. Bailey Split Frame Shoot Board Plane
This rare and historical plane was one of the first ones designed by Leonard Bailey. It is from the 1855-60 period. L. Bailey was the first to patent a cutter adjustment feature on an iron plane. Metallic Plane Co. Filletster Plane - With Filagree Fence
The Metallic Plane Company made some very distinctive planes. The filletster planes are probably the most attractive. Of the two filletster planes they made this one is my favorite, with the Gothic filagree on the fence, the curved styling on the body, and the long, graceful tip on the tote. Phillips Improved Plow Plane

Stanley Millers Patent, No. 43 Plow Plane
The classic decorative Victorian styling of the Miller Patent planes make them some of the most attractive tools ever produced. The No. 43 is the same as the No. 41 except there is no provision for a filletster bed.

Stanley No. 4 1/2 Smooth Plane
The No. 4 1/2 is heavier and longer that the No. 4, making it one of the best smoothing planes for surfacing lumber. Birmingham 4 1/4 Smooth Plane

Birmingham 6 Inch T-Rabbet

Here's another interesting plane from the Metallic Plane Co., Auburn, N. Y. No. 3 size. This one has the star-wheel cutter adjustment. It also has the cast iron mushroom-shaped front knob, adjustable throat and lightly corrugated bottom distinctive to the Metallic Plane Co. The cutter is marked with the Excelsior markings. Desirable No. 3 size. All of the small Metallic Plane Co's planes are hard to find. This one with the fixed cap seems to be the rarest. This one has the mushroom-shaped front knob, beech handle, adjustable throat and lightly corrugated bottom distinctive to the Metallic Plane Co.
