Rodier Patent Jack Plane
Patented March 14, 1879. This unusual plane was cast with vertical grooves in the sides and S-shaped grooves in the bottom, both features as outlined in the patent specifications. It has a cutter adjuster with star-shaped wheel, that tips the frog to adjust the depth of cut.
This is a very nice example of an uncommon plane. Almost all of the japanning remains. It has the original Buck Brothers iron. The walnut handle and knob still have their original finish, Fine ..........Sold $1695.00
