Vogel Level P. H. Vogel Patent Level

Made by the P. H. Vogel Manufacturing Co., New Britain, Conn. Patented May 13, 1919. My understanding is that the patent was for an aluminum frame with a brass web.
These were made for only a couple of years before the company was purchased by Chapin Stephens, and then marked with that company's name. After Stanley bought out Chapin Stephens, a few of these levels were marked with the Stanley name.
This level is 30 inches long. The lacquer is worn, but it hasn't been buffed. It has been protected in a gray wooden box with a leather strap to hold the level in, G+ ........ $195.00
