Four inch length. This is the Winterbottom's Patent. Type I with the iron frame handle and black walnut inlay. Has the 1869 and 1874 patent dates stamped in the wood, and the lead fill around the three rivets.
Some stain but no pitting on this early square in the smallest size. I think it is nicer than the picture shows, G++ ............ $100.00
