  2. STANLEY NO. 51, SPOKE SHAVE, An early one (late 1800s) with the J trademark on the cutter with good length. Used for work on flat or convex surfaces. Flat bottom, raised handles for clearance. 2 1/8 inch wide cutter. 75% japanning, G+ ........ $30.00

  3. STANLEY NO. 53, ADJUSTABLE SPOKE SHAVE, Adjustable throat. Cutter is 2 1/8 inches wide. V trademark on the cutter, CA. 1915. Used for work on flat or convex surfaces. Flat bottom. Like the No. 54, but, gull-wing handles for clearance. 80% japanning. Good cutter length. A great user, G+ ........ Sold $55.00

  4. STANLEY NO. 55, HOLLOW FACE SPOKE SHAVE, T trademark on the cutter dates this one to around 1915. For use on all types of round work, such as chair legs or handles ... Gull-wing handles. Missing a lot of the japanning, but clean and will be a great user, G+ ........ Sold $45.00

  6. STANLEY NO. 64, SPOKE SHAVE, Flat bottom. Light weight. Has an 1 3/4 inch cutter. For flat and convex work. Notched rectangle logo on the cutter with good length. 60% japanning remains, G .......... $35.00

  7. STANLEY NO. 67, UNIVERSAL SPOKE SHAVE, Sweetheart logo on the lapped cutter with good length. Complete with the round and flat soles and fence. The nice rosewood handles can be removed and screwed in the top to facilitate work in close areas, as for rabbeting. Almost all of nickel plating remains, but with some of wear on the sole, and tiny owner's name, G++ ........ $165.00

  8. STANLEY NO. 85, RAZOR-EDGE SPOKE SHAVE, Boxwood frame, adjustable throat and adjustable depth. Basically unused. Good length to the cutter,which is 2 1/2 inches wide, and both ears are still there. A perfect user tool, Fine+ ............... Sold $95.00

  9. STANLEY NO. 151, ADJUSTABLE SPOKE SHAVE, Notched-rectangle logo on the cutter with full length. This is the all-purpose workhorse of the Stanley line. Used for flat or convex work. There are two nuts that engage with the cutter to provide an easy way for proper adjustment. 95% of the japanning remains. A good user, Fine....... Sold $95.00

  10. STANLEY NO. 152, ADJUSTABLE SPOKE SHAVE, Notched Rectangle logo on the cutter with good length. Has flat handles (instead of gull-wing), for tight work. Used for flat or convex work. There are two nuts that engage with the cutter to provide an easy way for proper adjustment. 90% japanning remains. Owner's name on the cap and sole shouldn't effect use, G+ ...............   1. A.A. WOOD F-1 SPOKESHAVE, with adjustable throat. Very unusual and uncommon shave. The cutter is extra-thick. It is well-sharpened, but one side has a small bevel, maybe from a repaired nick. Missing some black enamel and has a bit of patina. Very high quality, G+.............. $50.00

  2. STEARNS UNIVERSAL SPOKE SHAVE, Decorative brass cap has the company name and Pat'd Mar 27, 1900 cast in it. Adapted for all work which can be done with an ordinary spoke shave, while its flexible spring bottom allows it to cut either on the inside or outside of a circle in the same manner as a spring bottom circular plane. All of the bells and whistles you could want from a tool. 99% japanning, Fine .............. Sold $175.00

  5. MILLERS FALLS NO. 1 SPOKE SHAVE. Rosewood handles on this shave with a circular shape permit the tool to work in small circles as well as flat work. The knife is so pitched that it cuts instead of scraping the grain. Either handle is removable for working in cramped quarters. It's in very crisp condition. Length 10 inches, Fine ..............   6. MILLERS FALLS NO. 2 FOUR FACED SPOKE SHAVE. Quickly adjustable throat regulator, which may be turned to present four different faces to the blade; one flat, two oval or convex, and one concave. A wide or narrow throat may be had. Rosewood handles. Either handle is removable for working in cramped quarters. It's in very good condition. Length 11 inches, Fine .............. Sold $150.00

  1. STANLEY NO. 66 HAND BEADER, Feb. 9. (18)86 patent date is cast in the body, and S casting marks on the main pieces. 92% of the nickel plating is still there. There is none on the straight fence - it looks like there never was any. The curved fence is an earlier japanned one. With eight double-ended cutters that are professional reproductions, Fine .............. Sold $135.00

  3. WINDSOR BEADER, Second type marked with the June 2- 1885 patent date on the body, which was ebonized (painted black) but is now natural. The brass plates and fence have good patina. This one comes with both of the original cutters - which is hard to find. One of the handle tips is missing the brass point and has a screw-eye. It's a little over 10 inches long, G+ ......... $135.00
